Why are you doing this?

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) is being superseded by Counter-Strike 2, which is set to launch in Summer 2023.

Since the economy is being migrated over, it only makes sense to make our name agnostic to the current Counter-Strike version.

In other words, we'll be prepared for Counter-Strike 3 as well (if Valve can count that high).

How are you doing this?

Over the next couple weeks, you'll see various parts of the site shift over to CSFloat.

All, but not limited to:

  • We will now use csfloat.com instead of csgofloat.com
    • You will be auto-redirected to csfloat.com when the time comes
  • Our Twitter handle will become @csfloatcom instead of @csgofloat
  • The extension will be renamed to CSFloat Market Checker
  • Emails will be sent from csfloat.com instead of csgofloat.com

We anticipate to start making these changes August 5th.
